LIMITED WARRANTY
1) VALUE WOODWORKING LP (VALUE) warrants all its wood products for one (1) year from date of shipment against warpage as follows:
a. Raised panel wooden doors 24” or less in width and 46” or less in height are warranted against warpage of more than 1/8”
b. All styles other than raised panels doors are warranted against warpage of more than ¼”.
c. Raised panel wooden doors larger than our warranted sizes as above and requested as “single panel doors” will not carry any warranty.
2) VALUE warrants all its thermofoil products for a period of five (5) years from the date of shipment against de-lamination and/or surface discoloration.
3) These warranties may be declared void at the sole option of VALUE if damage is:
a. incurred by improper handling and/or storage. Use of solvent or lacquer based cleaning products or abrasive cleaners can damage these products, or
b. due to normal wear and tear of the material, or,
c. due to exposure to temperatures greater than 85o, or
d. due to exposure to outdoor elements, or
e. if a claim in writing is not received by VALUE within 60 days of the defect first appearing.
4) The subject warranties are strictly limited as follows:
a. VALUE shall only be responsible to, at its sole option, repair, restore and/or replace the defective product. Replacement of defective product could result in a slight colour variation from the originally provided product and is not indicative of a defect.
b. VALUE shall not under any circumstances be responsible for any other damages or costs including any indirect or consequential damages.
c. VALUE shall not be responsible for any costs relating to installation and/or transportation.
d. VALUE shall not under any circumstances be liable for a total amount including costs, in excess of the amount paid by its customer for the product which is alleged to be defective.
e. No action shall be brought to enforce this warranty later than one year after the cause of action arose.
5) The warranties contained herein are not assignable.
6) The warranties contained herein shall be the sole guarantees or warranties applicable to the product and shall stand in place and stead of any other guarantee or warranty expressed or in any way implied including any statutory guarantee or warranty.
7) This document shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario.
8) If any provision herein is illegal or unenforceable such provision may be severed from this document and the rest of the document shall continue to be in full force and effect.
