GENERAL INFORMATION

ORDER DESK

Order desk hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm, and Friday 8:00am to 2:00pm Eastern Standard Time.

ORDERING

Orders may be placed by email, phone, or fax.  An order acknowledgment is faxed or emailed back to the customer for signed confirmation before the order is scheduled for production.

LEAD TIMES

Delivery dates are given as accurately as possible but are not guaranteed.     We will do our best to get all orders shipped on time.  Value Woodworking will not be held responsible for freight or any other charges is an order is delayed due to machinery breakdown, shortage of material or other manufacturing difficulties.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Changes and cancellations can only be made before production has started.  Once production has started the order becomes the responsibility of the customer.  If a change to your order is possible, a surcharge will be levied.  Make sure you double-check your order confirmation.

FREIGHT

Orders are FOB our plant in Bolton, Ontario 

SHORTAGES

All orders must be inspected upon delivery.  Claims for shortages will only be reviewed if made within 2 business days of delivery.

DAMAGES

Goods damage in shipment are the responsibility of the carrier.  Do not destroy packaging or product until it has been inspected and the credit has been approved by the carrier.  Value Woodworking assumed no responsibility for improper handling, storage, finishing or cleaning.

RETURNS

As all products are custom made to order, no product can be returned for   credit unless it is defective or a manufacturing error has been made.     Defective goods must be returned to us unfinished for inspection.  You must receive prior authorization before returning any product.  Value Woodworking assumes no responsibility for improper handling, storage, finishing or cleaning.

RUSH ORDERS

Standard production lead time is 7-15 business days, based on the product style.  If an order is required sooner, we will try and accommodate your request.  These orders will carry a premium.  Rush orders may not be possible for all product styles.
